Eliminating the Word Transition

Kurt Cobain would have loved to be a trans man.

I despise the word transition.

I have nothing to transition to as I have always been a biological trans man.

I am a stubborn fuck. The word transition made me refuse my meds (testosterone) for a year after finding my truth. I am now on my medication and no longer have panic attacks, which I have been suffering from since childhood.

Please consider eliminating this word from your speech.

I believe it normalizes second puberty in adulthood instead of normalizing trans youth undergoing the correct puberty at the proper time.

Ideally, we would live in a world where we are not assigned a cis marker from birth and can be ourselves all of our lives. This reality cannot exist when trans folks are told they are truly their assigned sex and must transition to become their real selves.

Trans women are women.

Trans men are men.

Trans men have seahorse powers and are nicer than cis men :). (an unbiased perspective from a trans male)

I will never be a cis man. I do not want to be a cis man. I am a trans man and I love being trans. I wish I could have always told my truth because it's so fucking cool.

Give trans kids their meds.
